About The Salvation Army
Welcome to the Wellington City Corps of The Salvation Army.
Our Worship Services are held every Sunday at 10:30am, and is a time where we all come together as family and share in worship.
ABOUT THIS CORPS (Church)
We are a church that seeks to honour God in the way we live and worship. We have many different ways to worship from music & singing, video & data, giving, sharing and the use of Biblical teaching.
ABOUT OFFERINGS AND TITHES.
If you have not come prepared to give today and/or are a guest of this church, do not feel obliged to participate. We give back to God what we believe He has first given to us by giving in a weekly offering.
ABOUT THE UNIFORMS.
We are a Salvation Army church, and you may notice some people wearing uniforms. Uniforms represent formal membership within The Salvation Army. We don't expect everyone who comes to wear a uniform, and you can be a member without wearing a uniform. In fact, you don't have to be a member of the church to come here. However, as a Salvation Army Corps (church), the uniform is a part of our witness. An outside demonstration of an inside experience.
